A three-member Ethics Committee found Dewey-Humboldt Mayor Terry Nolan in violation of three of eight alleged violations of the town’s Code of Ethics set forth in a July 1 complaint, causing the Mayor to say it should have gone to a hearing officer instead of the bickering and animosity from council member Nancy Wright who filed the complaint.
At issue are Nolan’s actions with the Prescott National Forest employees and a rancher where he allegedly had conversations and meetings representing himself, his ideas, and his actions as mayor without the approval of council.
