Ballot proposition results: Healthcare wins, legislators lose

Arizona voters easily approved Proposition 303, a measure to allow terminally ill patients to potentially access experimental drugs not fully vetted by federal regulators.

Voters also approved Proposition 480, a $935 million bond measure to renovate and expand Maricopa County’s public healthcare system.

With sizable pockets of ballots uncounted around the state, voters were evenly torn on Proposition 122, a measure that would empower Arizona to legally challenge federal programs and actions officials here consider unconstitutional.
