Concern spills onto Coolidge’s Central Avenue

Now that people have had the chance to see what was done with the reconstruction of Coolidge Avenue, there are fears of the impact that could be felt when the same project happens on Central Avenue.

Coolidge Public Works Director Susanna Struble and Clark Clatanoff, the project manager from design firm AMEC, met with business and property owners whose building line Central Avenue to discuss the many issues revolving around the upcoming reconstruction of Coolidge Avenue. During the public meeting at the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce on Thursday morning, a couple parties brought forward their disapproval of Coolidge Avenue and their hopes that the same thing won’t be done to Central.
