Group calls for reactivation of Casa Grande airport board

A group of residents wants the city to reactivate the Casa Grande Airport Advisory Board and they’ve submitted a petition to officials with hundreds of signatures asking that new members be appointed.

“The city has done a great disservice by allowing the Airport Advisory Board to dissolve,” Casa Grande resident Bob Daszy, representing a group of airport users, told the Casa Grande City Council last week.

He submitted a petition to the City Manager’s Office with 278 names of people who want the board to begin meeting regularly again.
