The City of Maricopa is asking for development proposals to transform an 18-acre commercial site into a mixed-use destination adjacent to the 120-acre Copper Sky Recreation Complex and across the street from Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino.
The city’s commercial site offers more than 1,100 feet of frontage on State Route 347, Maricopa’s main retail corridor and north-south connection to I-10 and I-8.
“What we’re looking for is a development team that has experience in mixed-use, retail, restaurants and hospitality development,” said Micah Miranda, the city’s director of economic development.
