Phoenix settles on payments for properties along light rail extension

The city of Phoenix is paying a church on 19th Avenue $139,700 for land to make way for an extension of the Metro light rail system.

The city also has reached a monetary settlement with JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) over some bank-owned properties along the light rail extension in northwest Phoenix.
