According to data from Realtor.com, the most common name for a real-estate agent in the U.S. is David Johnson.
That comes as no surprise to David Johnson —principal at Dakota Carson Realty Group in Springfield, Mo.
“Let’s be realistic,” he says. “It is a super popular name.” So popular, in fact, that Mr. Johnson is occasionally confused with another David Johnson at a competing agency in town.
