Wade to resign as Pinal Dem chair for council work

Pinal County Democratic Party Chairman Henry Wade plans step down Wednesday to focus on his new job on the Maricopa City Council.

The 59-year-old Wade, elected to the council for a four-year term on Nov. 4, said he will turn in his resignation at the monthly party meeting in Florence. The Maricopa Council will be sworn in Dec. 2.
