Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton has sprained knee, is ‘week-to-week’

Arizozna Cardinals have received some good news with regards to quarterback Drew Stanton and the knee injury he suffered Thursday night in St. Louis.

“Drew does not need surgery,” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Friday. “It’s just going to be rest and rehab. There’s no timetable set, but it’s very good news that he is not going to need surgery.”

Stanton was knocked out of the game in the third quarter after being sacked by the Rams’ Aaron Donald. He had completed 12-of-20 passes for 109 yards before leaving the game.
