Arizona’s population grew by 96,500 in 2014

Arizona was one of the fastest growing states last year.

From July 1, 2013 to July 1, 2014 Arizona’s population grew 96,487 or 1.45 percent, according to data released Tuesday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Compared to all the other states, Arizona was the seventh fastest growing state. North Dakota was the fastest, growing at a rate of 2.16 percent from July 1, 2013 to July 1, 2014.
