Million-dollar condominiums with their own elevators are underway in north Scottsdale. Four-story town houses with skylights are planned near Arizona State University in Tempe. And sales are about to start for lofts overlooking central Phoenix’s Margaret T. Hance Park.
A mini-boom in cool, new urban housing is happening in metro Phoenix. Not a full-fledged boom like in 2006 when almost 8,000 highrise condos, lofts and town homes were planned — but fewer than half that many were built.
