Data center and SRP plug into electrical grid

IO’s new spin-off company BaseLayer is partnering with Salt River Project to deploy a new line of modular data centers.

These data stations will deliver capacity at SRP power station facilities in central Arizona and plug directly into the electrical grid.

It’s believed to be the first time a data center manufacturer and a utility company have worked together to make this secure, sustainable data center concept commercially available.
