Medical marijuana researcher says Ariz. universities scared of ‘extreme legislators’

After receiving Federal Drug Administration approval for a study investigating the potential medical benefits of marijuana in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and then getting preliminary approval of a $2 million grant to conduct the study from the Colorado State Medical Marijuana Scientific Advisory Council, Dr. Sue Sisley was unceremoniously dumped by one Arizona university and ignored by the others.

Wait… What?

Helping vets. FDA approval. Big grant. What possible reason would Arizona’s universities not want to be associated with that?
