Phoenix plans to put a 105-year-old historic building on the market this month

Officials said they don’t have a need for the city-owned property in Laveen, and it would cost up to $300,000 to restore it.

They hope the buyer would rehabilitate it.

The Sachs-Webster Farmstead, 7515 W. Baseline Road, was built in 1909 before Phoenix annexed portions of the Laveen community.

The farmhouse is one of 15 houses on the Phoenix Historic Property Register, the city’s list of the historic properties deemed worthy of preservation.
