Another demolition and contemporary redevelopment is proposed in downtown Scottsdale.
A pair of 1,300-square-foot restaurants with another 3,000 square feet on upper levels on First Avenue about a half block east of Goldwater Boulevard have been proposed.
The site is three Old Town lots currently housing a pair of buildings and courtyard. One is a small cafe, the other an empty office. The development, proposed by Desert Cedars LLC, will demolish the two existing buildings and west-side parking area, replacing them with two new buildings of around 1,300 square feet each and placing the parking in between them.
