Coyote ownership deal finally iced

The Coyotes have a new majority owner.

More than two months after the team agreed to sell Andrew Barroway a 51 percent stake of the franchise, Barroway’s acquisition was finalized by the NHL Wednesday.

“This is truly a dream come true for me and my family,” Barroway said in a statement released by the team. “I am extraordinarily grateful for the opportunity of a lifetime and look forward to working and solidifying a strong partnership with the club’s current ownership group.
