Foreclosure rate falls to lowest level since ’08, Ariz. in top 5 lowest inventory

Todforeclosuresay CoreLogic released its November 2014  National Foreclosure Report containing promising numbers for Arizona.

According to the report, Arizona is one of five states with the lowest foreclosure inventory as a percentage of mortgaged homes, at 0.5 percent. It is also one of 35 states with an inventory of foreclosed homes lower than the national rate.

Brian Honea with DS News reports about 1.5 percent of all homes with a mortgage in the United States were in some state of foreclosure in November 2014, the lowest foreclosure rate since March 2008.

About 5.5 million homes in the country have been foreclosed since September 2008.
