Former Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman has joined Rose Law Group as the head of its litigation department. The firm plans to grow its litigation practice, particularly in the area of election and education law. “It’s a new phase of my life in some ways,” Hallman told our reporter recently. He said he has worked in the election law arena before. On its Website, the firm touted the former city mayor’s background in education, having taught at the university level, represented charters, and served as headmaster of the Tempe Preparatory Academy. “We want to bring that expertise to education clients who need that kind of significant and powerful representation,” Hallman said.
