Arizona’s solar industry grew by 7 percent but dropped to third place in 2014 behind Massachusetts, according to the Solar Foundation’s Solar Jobs Census report released today.
Arizona created 612 new solar jobs in the last 12 months, a 7.2 percent growth since November 2013.
However, the state lost 1,200 jobs in a “pretty rocky” 2013 with the net metering discussions, said Andrea Luecke, president and executive director of the independent nonprofit research and education Solar Foundation.
