$18 million ($49/SF) sale of the 364,352 square-foot Security Title Plaza high-rise at the southwest corner of Weldon and Central avenues (3636 N. Central Avenue) in Phoenix by Investors Warranty of America Inc., which appears to be an entity of Transamerica Corporation.
The buyer was Heckethorn Towers LLC, an entity of Heckethorn Products Inc., (Beth A. Dunn, member) based out of Dyersburg, Tenn.
Jones Lang LaSalle once listed the property, although officials with the firm say the property is now listed with Cassidy Turley. The 12-story building includes balconies overlooking Central Avenue, after hours live security and professional onsite management, as well as a parking ratio of 4 per 1,000 square feet, which is more than average in Central Business District, according to the JLL website.
The sky rise, which sits on just under 2 acres, was built 1984.

$6.6 million sale of a 17,724 square-foot car wash and gas station with small retail center at the southwest corner of Guadalupe Road and Arizona Avenue (2816-2828 S. Country Club Dr.), in Mesa, by Mesa-based Hamama Holdings LLC.
The buyer was Boss Real Estate Investments LLC (Michael Harris, manager), based in Gilbert.
The car wash, gas station and retail center sit on about 1.9 acres.
