Bowers is Glendale acting manager on month-to-month basis

Glendale won’t have to hire another city manager for at least two and a half more months.

The city council approved a temporary employment contract with Richard A. Bowers at its Feb. 24 meeting that lasts from Feb. 18 to May 15, with month-to-month extensions available, “if necessary.”

Bowers previously served as acting city manager for Glendale in the spring and summer of 2013.
