[COLUMN] Rail service between Tucson and Phoenix — a pipedream?

It’s like Frankenstein jerking back to life. Or Dracula rising from the coffin when the stake to the heart doesn’t quite take.

I’m talking about yet another newspaper article floating the idea of commuter rail service between Tucson and Phoenix.

According to the article, published earlier this month in the Arizona Daily Star, the idea is back on the Arizona Department of Transportation’s radar.
