Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation to permanently index Arizona’s income tax rates to inflation, a top priority he laid out in his first State of the State address.
Ducey said HB2001 is common-sense legislation that will eliminate a “hidden tax increase” faced by Arizonans.
“This is one more crucial measure to keep our tax rates reasonable and predictable while further promoting our open-for-business agenda. It’s good government, it’s good for Arizona, and it fulfills a key campaign promise on which I was elected,” Ducey said in a press statement.
