Peoria grants P83 project developer’s request for 5-month extension

The developers of a proposed retail, entertainment and restaurant project on what is now the parking area for the Peoria Sports Complex is being given an extra five months to solidify plans for a co-development partner and finance provider.

The Avenue Shoppes at P83 is considered by city officials a vehicle that will transform the city’s successful sports and entertainment district off 83rd Avenue south of Bell Road into an even more successful venture.
