The city is considering three firms with nationwide experience in identifying candidates for government executive positions to carry out the search for a new city manager.
The Mercer Group, Slavin Management Consultants, Inc., and CPS HR Consulting were advanced for consideration by the city’s Human Resources and Risk Management Department after an analysis of firms considered to be leading ones in the executive-search process as well as the required work, time likely required by the firms and their costs.
HR and Risk Management Director Jim Brown is presenting each firm’s qualifications and proposals to the City Council during a council workshop Tuesday.
