Third at one point, Arizona ranks 5th in creation of new clean energy jobs

Screen Shot 2015-03-05 at 5.09.46 PMIn a study by Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), Arizona ranked fifth among the 50 states for new clean energy jobs in 2014, with 3,402 jobs, placing the state in the top 10 percent.

Nevada ranked first with 8,591 new jobs, followed by California at 7,323; New York, 7,175; and Michigan, 3,628.

Across the country, nearly 47,000 clean energy and clean transportation jobs were announced at more than 170 projects,
