Below is the deal that closed Thursday, April 9, 2015, in Maricopa County over $5 million according to the Maricopa County Recorder. The Rose Law Group Reporter has not independently verified these transactions.
$18.6 million sale of Legacy Traditional School property on the northeast corner of E. Rittenhouse and S. Recker roads (2747 S. Recker Road) in Gilbert by Charter School Fund II, an entity of Hawkins Companies, a full-service real estate firm based in Boise, Idaho.
The buyer was Legacy Traditional Schools, located at 3201 S. Gilbert Road, in Chandler, their district office.
The Phoenix City Council recently approved $152.4 million in Phoenix Industrial Development Authority bonds to expand and build new school campuses in the Valley. As part of this, Legacy Traditional Schools received $41.5 million to refinance debt and to expand campuses in Gilbert and Maricopa, according to The Arizona Republic.
The Gilbert property they purchased is 9.5 acres.
Legacy Traditional Schools touts itself as a collaborative learning community comprised of students, parents and educators focusing on the basics of reading, writing and math, as well as science, social studies, computers and art, according to their website.
Legacy has at least nine Arizona campuses.
