Below are the deals closed Friday, April 3, 2015, in Maricopa County over $5 million according to the Maricopa County Recorder. The Rose Law Group Reporter has not independently verified these transactions.
$17.3 million sale of vacant land at the northwest corner of N. 91st Avenue and W. Deer Valley Road in Peoria by Camino A Lago LLC an entity of Communities Southwest, a real estate firm that has acquired, entitled, developed, and/or sold more than 38,000 single-family residential home sites in 45 land and community development projects, five retail development projects, and two golf courses, according to their website.
The buyer was Maracay 91 LLC, an entity of Arizona-based homebuilder Maracay Homes, which paid cash for Parcel 2 in the Meadows for the 82-acre property.
According to public record, Maracay closed on 174 preliminary platted lots (81 – 75’x134′ / 56 – 90’x135′ / 19 – 18k SF / 18 – 24k SF; $99,287 per lot / $1,072 per FF). Preliminary plat was approved on 1/27/2015.

$8.95 million sale of the Glendale Commons apartments on the southwewst corner of N. 65th Avenue and W. Bethany Home Road (6565 W. Bethany Home Road) in Glendale by California-based NV Investments LP.
The buyer was Casa Bellisima Venture LLC, which made a $695,331 down payment for the property.
The apartment complex is a gated community, with covered parking, offering studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplans near Glendale Community College.
The 96,151 square-foot complex, on about 6.1 acres, was built in 1983.
