Norcross, Ga.,-based Slavin Management Consultants, Inc., will lead the search for a new city manager, the City Council has decided.
This month’s decision to hire Slavin paves the way for council members and the consultant to develop a profile of the person the governing body eventually wants to hire to fill the position.
Slavin was chosen over Atlanta-based The Mercer Group and Sacramento, Calif.-based CPS HR Consulting. All three firms have an Arizona representative. All three indicated they would charge the city around $24,000 for their services.
