Glendale’s moneyman frets over local economy

At least one city official is concerned the local economy could take a turn for the worse.

Tom Duensing, the city’s director of finance and technology, outlined his concerns for Glendale City Council at its April 14 budget workshop.

“There are challenges out there that we need to watch very carefully, stay on top of it and adjust accordingly,” he said.

Duensing mentioned briefly what sounded like his greatest fears for the city’s future.
