Home builder spends $22M on land in Peoria, Gilbert

Scottsdale-based Maracay Homes has bought land in Peoria and Gilbert for close to $22 million.

The home builder could build as many as 279 homes on the suburban land acquired in separate deals.

Maracay paid $17.3 million for 174 lots on 82 acres in Peoria at a property called the Meadows at Camino a Lago. The seller was Communities Southwest Management Inc. The lots are located at Deer Valley Road and 91st Avenue in the West Valley.
