Mayor Cathy Carlat called on city leaders Tuesday night to pursue a broad agenda of economic development while addressing open-space preservation and expanding recreation and public safety services in Peoria’s rapidly growing northern area.
The mayor, who took office in January after winning her first term last year, laid out her vision during her first State of the City address before an audience of local business leaders and government officials at Arizona Broadway Theater.
