Saying there’s a lot more work to be done, Mayor Jonathan Rothschild filed nomination petitions for his re-election campaign this week.
He collected and filed the maximum number of allowable signatures to get on the ballot — more than 4,100.
Rothschild, a Democrat, also raised the maximum amount of money to qualify for matching public funds — $115,839.
Nearly one in five donors gave the $500 maximum contribution.
