Home prices in the Valley saw a jump in the last year and in the last month, a new report by CoreLogic says.
Phoenix metro-area home prices increased 3.4 percent in February of this year compared to February last year. This includes distressed sales.
They also increased by 0.5 percent from January to February of this year.
CoreLogic’s statistical area includes Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale.
The statistics here followed the trend nationally, with home prices increasing by 5.6 percent over the last year.
This change represents three years of consecutive year-over-year increases in home prices nationally, the study said.
They also increased nationwide by 1.1 percent from January to February.
