Last month, in its daily $5M+ Deals report, Dealmaker reported that popular outdoor recreation retailer, REI bought more than 30 acres of land in Goodyear.
The city has released more details on the sale, which will bring a 400,000-square-foot distribution center and more than 100 new jobs to the West Valley, a news release said.
The Seattle-based company will be the third tenant along the newly-opened Loop 303 near Camelback Road in Goodyear.
The company is expected to break ground on the facility covering 34 acres in May and open in early 2016, the release said.
