$5M+ Deals – Hotel and vacant land totaling more than $30M

Below are the deals that closed Thursday, May 14, 2015, in Maricopa County over $5 million according to the Maricopa County Recorder. Rose Law Group Reporter has not independently verified these transactions.

$14.8 million sale of the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown on the northeast corner of 2nd Avenue and larendon (4000 N. Central Avenue) in Phoenix by CRE Phoenix LLC, an entity created by GearingStone, a Dallas-based real estate finance firm.

The buyer was Phoenix Central Hotel Venture LLC.

The 156 room hotel sits on 1.3 acre in central Phoenix, offering a 24-hour Business Center, pool, complimentary fitness center and a full-service restaurant.

$9.3 million sale of vacant land on the northeast of W. Deer Valley Road and N. Lake Pleasant Road in Peoria by Camino A Lago LLC, an entity created by Communities Southwest, a real estate firm based in Scottsdale.

The buyer was Woodside Homes Sales AZ LLC, an entity of Woodside Homes, a builder with communities in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Utah.

The more than 40-acre property, platted for 190 lots and made up of 12 parcels, was listed by Nathan & Associates. It is set to be a new housing development called The Meadows to include parks, a new elementary school, with housing built around the existing Liberty High School.

$6.6 million sale of vacant land south of the southwest corner of W. Southern Avenue and S. Center Street (1367 S. Country Club Drive), in Mesa by CCRP LLC.

The buyer was Lennar Arizona Inc., an entitiy of Lennar Homes.
