Furniture retailer Frontgate, which sells primarily online and through catalogs, plans to open its first Arizona retail store in the Pavilions at Talking Stick near Scottsdale next month.
De Rito Partners, which manages the shopping center near Indian Bend and Pima roads on the Salt River Reservation, announced Frontgate will open a 32,000-square-foot outlet next to Home Depot in June. The store will be one of only four brick-and-mortar Frontgate outlet stores nationwide, with two others in Ohio and one in Georgia, according to De Rito.
Frontgate is part of Cornerstone Brands and HSN, Inc., a $3 billion company which runs the well-known Home Shopping Network television shopping channel.
Frontgate circulates about 83 million catalogs each year after mailing its first issues to 300,000 homes about 24 years ago. Products likely to be sold in the outlet store include tables, chairs and beds; home decor; small kitchen appliances and accessories; electronics and outdoor furnishings
