Libel lawsuit against Flagstaff councilmember dismissed

A libel suit filed against Flagstaff City Councilmember Coral Evans has been dismissed.

Joe Villasenor, the spokesperson for Landmark Properties, filed the lawsuit against Evans in June 2014. Landmark Properties is the developer of a 650-bed student apartment complex known as The Standard. The project would have originally displaced around 56 families from the Arrowhead Village trailer park. The company has moved the project so it does not affect the trailer park.
