Prescott has cleanest air in America, says Lung Association

PRESCOTT – The adage of “clean mountain air” is no myth in the Prescott area.

A report from the American Lung Association recently ranked Prescott as number 1 on its list of the 12 U.S. cities with the cleanest air.

That means that when it comes to “particle pollution” such as dust and smoke, Prescott’s skies are among the most pristine in the country.

The local area comes out ahead of cities such as Farmington, N.M.; Cheyenne, Wyo.; Casper, Wyo.; and Flagstaff – all rounding out the top five.
