Phoenix keeps picking off the top tier professionals from other Valley cities. The newest gain is another Glendale defection with Director of Communications Julie Watters leaving for a similar role in Phoenix.
Watters has been with Glendale for 13 years, following a stint as an anchor and reporter for KPNX-TV Channel 12. She joined the communications team in the fire department, working her way up to head the Glendale local access television channel before rising to the communications department’s deputy director role.
