Hipsters’ Roosevelt Row ponders new business improvement district

Roosevelt RowProperty owners along the hipsterish Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix are considering whether to form a new business improvement district.

The city of Phoenix approved a measure last year allowing for Roosevelt Row property owners and business to form a BID. Those stakeholders are now considering the prospects. That includes whether and what kind of taxes or assessments they would impose on themselves.
