HOA members still have questions about South Mountain Freeway

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is hard at work purchasing homes in Ahwatukee Foothills that were built in the path of the proposed South Mountain Freeway, but homeowners within one homeowners association say they still have a lot of questions about the future of their neighborhood.

Goldman Ranch, near Pecos Road and 24th Street, stands to lose more than 80 percent of its members if the freeway goes through as currently planned. Only 11 homes will remain in the small HOA, which maintains several pieces of land along Liberty Lane.
