Maricopa couple missing; car found

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Maricopa couple.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office got a phone call just after 7 p.m. on Monday reporting the disappearance of Michael and Tina Careccia.

The caller said the pair left their house, located south of Maricopa, at 5 a.m. Monday for work and never returned.

A 2008 Honda Accord belonging to the couple was found abandoned at North Ralston Road and West Papago Road in the Thunderbird Farms area, about three hours after a family member reported them missing.
