Phoenix, Tucson have higher apartment vacancies than most other Western cities

Phoenix and Tucson higher rental vacancy rates than most other Western U.S. cities, according to a new report looking at the residential real estate sector.

The Valley’s residential real estate vacancy rate is 8.1 percent and units spend on average 57 days on the market, according to a first quarter report by All Property Management.
