Nationally acclaimed economist and public speaker Elliot Eisenberg, Ph.D., says Prescott needs to stick to its guns and invest in what has been proven to bring prosperity to pretty much any community.
Eisenberg, who spoke at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this week, specializes in making the minutia of economics fun, relevant and educational, according to his Website, econ70.com-a blog he maintains by writing 70 word essays each day that tackles current economic concepts or issues.
Eisenberg spoke very generally about the economy for much of his presentation, but about the last 10 minutes is when it got juicy-and perhaps slightly controversial-by giving strong suggestions on what the Prescott community should do to boost its economy and alleviate pressure on its natural resources.
