Tempe RV park residents could get run out on a rail

Residents of a Tempe mobile-home park and an RV park along the light-rail line could soon be evicted to make room for one of the city’s latest development projects.

And that’s raised the blood pressure of longtime RV park residents.

“It feels like we’re being disposed of summarily,” said Roger Comeau, who has lived at the Tempe Travel Trailer Villa for more than 25 years.

Comeau and other residents at the RV park feel they’re getting squeezed out of their affordable housing as Tempe continues its inexorable buildup in and around the city’s core.
