The Phoenix and Tucson metro areas were ranked high this week on a list of the best cities for retirement.

But Casa Grande retirees say those two metropolises are too congested and a traffic burden. They like this area just fine.

The ranking by Bankrate Inc. looked at 196 cities in seven livability categories and ranked Mesa/Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson first, third and fourth, respectively. The website looked at a community’s crime, weather, taxes and other factors. Arlington/Alexandria, Virginia, was second in the rankings released Monday.
