Another Arizona City incorporation effort could be on ballot in ’16

Organizers are set to launch another incorporation effort for Arizona City, believed to be the 11th attempt since 1981.

Nearly 100 people attended a public meeting on the issue Saturday. The crowd seemed evenly split between those in favor of incorporation and those opposed.

The meeting featured guest speaker Ted Poelstra, who has served in the state Legislature, was a lobbyist for decades and has a great deal of experience in local government.
