Council, resident groups spar over Scottsdale’s future

The talks come three years after Scottsdale voters rejected an update to the plan, forcing city planners to return to the drawing board to craft another proposal.

City officials and citizen groups can’t seem to agree on their visions for Scottsdale’s future.

After three years of work, the Scottsdale City Council is in its final stages of reviewing the city’s 2035 General Plan.
