Magic Ranch annexation issues argued in court

If the town of Florence’s annexation process wasn’t perfect that’s OK, it doesn’t have to be, an attorney for the town of Florence argued in Pinal County Superior Court.

The town was arguing for a quick verdict, or “summary judgment” last Thursday in two lawsuits brought by Magic Ranch residents to stop town’s annexation of more than 4,000 residents in the Magic Ranch, Wildhorse Estates and Crestfield Manor areas.
